This week is the “Blog Tour” week for Andrew Peterson’s book, On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness. I’ll be finishing the book up in the next two days and posting reviews - one in post form, and one in the podcast (I’ll do different material for each, I hope).
Andrew Peterson is a musician who thinks like fairy-story writers think. His album “The Far Country” contains songs very clearly inspired by Narnia (”Little Boy Heart Alive”) and Middle-Earth (”The Havens Grey”). I’ll have a lot to say about him this week, as I’m sort of going to fill up the blog with AP stuff. So it’s sort of an unofficial Andrew Peterson week, after which we’ll be returning to our regularly scheduled ongoing Harry Potter analysis.
And here’s the good news: I’ve been given an extra copy of On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness to give away! Stay tuned for details (which means, I’m trying to come up with some kind of contest).

Are you referring to the Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy Blog Tour? The only reason I ask is that this is the book on that Blog Tour right now.

I think Travis is referring on the blog tour put together by the publisher. This book will also be on the CFBA tour and the CSFF one as you mentioned but that is not until next week.

Yes, Amy’s right. This is the blog tour sponsored by AP’s publishing company. But thanks for the link to the other blog tour!
