Tricia Prinzi

TriciaTricia is really not that clever. And frankly, she is unsure why her husband has asked that she write here. It’s true that she’s read the Harry Potter Series through more times than she’d like to admit, as people might think her strange. It is also true that she is deeply affected by the characters of the series, so much so that she dreams about them. But mostly she is a regular woman who dances with her toddler, discusses theology, books and beer with her husband, and is easily annoyed by dog hair. In her free time Tricia enjoys jigsaw puzzles, singing along with her iPod, and drinking Riesling. Her best days are ones that she does all three of these things at the same time.

Tricia started college with dreams of teaching children to read and write. As it turns out she is much better at teaching them about personal growth, healthy relationships, and achieving academic excellence. Her career as a school counselor provides a context for her thinking on Harry Potter and the framework in which she will contribute to the Hog’s Head. After all, she’s working with the Harrys and Dracos of the Muggle world on a daily basis.
