Ollivander
The disappearance of Ollivander is bigger news than the small amount of attention in gets in Half-Blood Prince. We hear about his being gone very briefly in Chapter 6 of Half-Blood Prince in concert with the disappearance of Florean Fortescue, who was “dragged off, by the look of his place.” (See thisessay for an interesting and plausible theory on that). It is unknown “whether he left voluntarily or was kidnapped,” but there was “no sign of a struggle,” and all his wands and everything in his shop is gone. [click to continue…]
