Update: It’s back to the original price. Did anyone order before the $900+ price jump?
John Granger sent me an email last night with a follow-up today that Amazon.com has an unbelievable deal on The Complete Works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge (7 Volumes) – $15 for what is normally $965. Last night, they still had both leatherbound and paperback versions available. Today, leatherbound is “out of print.” There are still paperback versions available, but I’m guessing they’re trying to move out a bunch of copies which will then be out of print. This might be a once in a lifetime chance to get the entire collection of the works of a great author while saving almost a thousand dollars, and if the fate of the leatherbound copies are any indication, the paperbacks will be gone soon.

They caught what I am assuming was a pricing mistake, alas. The price this morning is again $980.
That’s sad. They did this with the $60 DH deluxe edition a while back, too (selling it for only $9). I wonder how that happens.
I got it, but I wonder how many other people got it too? And I wonder if that original selling price is for real… seven books for $980? That sounds way too high, for paperbacks nonetheless. For ~$125 per book you’d expect hardback.
