Happy Christmas!

by Travis Prinzi on December 25, 2009

A very merry Christmas from all of us in the Blogengamot to all of our Pub Patrons!

I was hoping to record a quick video Merry Christmas message, with a Santa hat on and all, but all the festivities have limited my time. I hope this is a blessed day and Christmas season for all of you.

Some great reading and listening from past Christmases at The Hog’s Head:

Thanks for the GK Chesterton poem, Travis, and the link to your article on “Harry Potter, Christmas, and Mythic Space.” I enjoyed reading it very much. I do have your book, Harry Potter and Imagination(even had you sign a copy for me at Azkatraz, yipee!) but this abbreviated article breaks down a lot of detail into an enjoyable short read–just the thing for a Christmas treat! :-)

Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you’ve all had a joyful and blessed holiday season. Mine has been great (except for a few cooking and traffic related stresses!).

Thanks for all the links, Travis. The Christmas episode of the pubcast was great (and inspired me to get Harry Potter and Imagination for my mom for Orthodox Christmas) and I look forward to enjoying the rest on my weekend of relaxation and sloth!

Happy Christmas to everyone. I’m away from home at Black Angus’ place in Sydney- enjoying wonderful times with his family and then I’ll be on the New South Wales South coast this coming week- no online access. I hope its a wonderful festive season for everyone.

Matthew
