Yes! Luna Lovegood wearing her famous lion hat while cheering for Gryffindor in Quidditch. The hat of course made its first appearance in the fifth book, but there were no Quidditch scenes in the film version. Good thing she also wore it in the sixth book and will definitely be in the film. Brilliant.

Evanna Lynch was a brilliantly inspired piece of casting!

Yeah, she’s awesome. Takes Luna to another level. Looks good in the lion mask, too. Paging Julie Taymor.
Reminds me of John LeCarre who said that when he saw Simone Signoret playing Elsa Fennan in the movie version of one of his books, Call for the Dead he immediately resolved to re-write the story so she’d have a larger part.
JKR should write stories for Lynch to star in.

What I love about Luna is that she is unafraid or embarrassed to be different. She’s completely comfortable in her own skin. She’s kind, loyal, calm, brave and willing to think the best of others. Her painted ceiling (of her only friends) is one of the most touching things in the whole series.
I loved the character of Luna in the books, and Evanna Lynch is perfect in the movies. Fantastic. When someone says that Neville really “gets” the Room of Requirement, it makes me think we can say the same for Evanna – she really gets the character of Luna. I’m so glad that they found her. Great casting.

Her hat was one of the highlights of the film. It had the audience laughing. Go Gryffindors!
Luna is a favorite. more so now i’ve got to see her and she has a larger part. my friends say i act just like her. she is so crazy fun i would love to hang out with someone like that! I want her lionhead hat though. would definately be Luna for holloween just got to find one or find out how to make it! any advice?
