Round and round we go. Check the Feb. 20 update here. (Hat Tip to Gaines).
We’re working on moving our office into the den, turning the office into the nursery, and changing internet service providers. All this means that blogging is still quite slow for me. I’ll get back to regular writing soon. I’m working through the audio version of Chamber of Secrets, which I grabbed from the library (what I wouldn’t give to have all the audio books…), and I’m sure I’ll have stuff to blog as I continue to work through it.

This is several English miles off the subject, but I was noticing the strikingly large amount of adverb usage on Oldman’s management company’s page and it made me chuckle about all the laughably ludicrous criticisms of Rowling’s abundantly liberal use of adverbiage by us frugal Americans (notably author and former cocaine-user Steven King and what’s-their-name from Nat’l Review.) Of course, I enjoy Tony Blair addresses and do a awfully brilliant impression, I daresay – cheers.
Yes, I read about half of King’s book On Writing, and I noticed his disdain for the adverb. He does, of course, absolutely love JKR’s novels all the same.
