Excellent: a pubcast and the Potter Pundits all at once.
Interesting to note that Voldemort is both the scientist and the monster. Kinda like a comic book villain (comic books, come to think of it, sound a lot like gothic lit).
I’m not too familiar with gothic lit, so I have a question. You guys mentioned Harry, Voldemort, and Snape as gothic characters, as well as the families Gaunts, Blacks, and Malfoys. What about Dumbledore? With his family secrets, he seems a good candidate for a gothic character. Any gothic stories that he’s related to?
