Sword of Gryffindor has been mentioned in a Terry Mattingly column (quoted by Amy Wellborn) alongside The Leaky Cauldron (HT to Felicity):
[Father Jonathan] Tobias is one voice in a global digital chorus debating this issue at myriad Web sites with names like SwordOfGryffindor.com and The-Leaky-Cauldron.org. Potter fans have, after all, purchased more than 300 million copies of the six novels.
Pretty cool. Nice to have this little blog on HP literary criticism and Christian themes noticed.

I have always been a big fan of Harry Potter books, and I don’t beleive Harry should die! Besides there have been so many that have died already and it wouldn’t be fair just to smash it all away and make a horrible ending to the best series I’ve ever read! I have read each book at least 25 times, and even my 6 and 7 yr. old brother and sister absolutely love the books. I read them a chapter every night.Come on JKR you can make a fantastic ending to the book, Harry doesnt have to die to end a series. He is the best character in the book and too good to lose.
Kathering, thanks for your comments. My guess is JKR is capable of writing an incredible ending whether Harry dies or not. Father Tobias’s point was simply that the death of Harry would make for a great mythological tragedy, the likes of which we haven’t seen in some time. I think it probably best for us to let JKR tell her story, however she tells it.
