We’ve had some discussion here about “allegory” as it relates to Narnia and Harry Potter.  I’m of the opinion that neither should be defined as “allegory,” though Lewis comes closer than Rowling in some places.  If you want to hear an example of a straight-up allegory, The Pilgrim’s Progress is the classic example, and it’s the free audiobook of the month at ChristianAudio.com.
